This has been a labour of love. It has taken waaaaaay longer to finalise than I expected, but hey I'm a Virgo and that means it had to be perfect.
I wrote a blog post back in April 2023 about the benefits of journaling and decided shortly after that I was going to curate a very special journaling starter kit to help those new to journaling, get up and running quickly. It's also excellent for peeps who are already experienced in this craft; as it will hopefully help you refresh your approach and encourage you to try new journaling ephemera.

This starter kit has been produced to help you detach, escape and unwind from modern day stresses via the power of journaling.
I have put together a thoughtful and whimsical gift box of stationery items using a restful colour palette, with lots of interesting and tactile materials, to help you (or someone you're gifting!) create stunning journal entries as part of a self-care exercise.

This journaling starter kit includes everything you need to help you navigate this new creative journey, including a handy leaflet packed with useful tips.
Our kit includes:
- a handmade journal, produced in Belfast. It has a recycled cover made using REAL coffee, beautiful taupe end papers with an inspirational quote in gold foil, 44 smooth cream pages which are 120gsm - perfect for sketching, fountain pens or fineliners. This journal has a machine sewn spine and includes a matching elastic enclosure.
- a bundle of papers tied using hand spun linen thread from Ireland, these papers include handmade paper, Kraft paper, deckled edged paper from GF Smith and lots of others! We've also attached a cute charm that you can use in your journaling spread.
- a bundle of stickers (including Japanese and Scandinavian brands), wrapped in Mulberry paper with dried flax stems. We've included dried flax because it's so symbolic in terms of the linen industry in Northern Ireland but incorporating dried flowers into your journal spreads will completely elevate them. Try it and see!
- Washi tape & two little bottles containing gold flakes and rose confetti.
- a fineliner and a canvas bag which includes binding clips and a wax seal stamp & wax.
- a mesh pouch to store your journaling paraphernalia.
