BRAND NEW VENUE! We're delighted to announce a bookbinding workshop in the stunning Merchant Hotel! One of the most luxurious 5 star hotels in Belfast, located in the historic Cathedral Quarter!
Join Anita, the owner of PAPERCROWN NI for some 'mindful making' where she will teach you how to make your very own hardback notebook, covered in a stunning patterned book cloth, complete with a grosgrain ribbon page marker.
We will guide you through each step of the bookbinding process, including how to:
- bind your pages using waxed linen thread
- attach book cloth to the grey board, making sure you produce professional results
- apply a luxe grosgrain pagemarker
- and how to 'case in' your bound pages to craft your very own hardback book!
This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners or for those wishing to refresh their bookbinding skills. It's also an amazing opportunity to take some time out from our busy lives and engage with others in a relaxing and creative environment.
