This is an exclusive Titanic leather journal which was handmade in Thomas Andrews' office, at Titanic Hotel Belfast (former HQ of Harland & Wolff where Titanic was designed and built). 

So what's the story behind this Traveler's Notebook?! PAPERCROWN NI runs bookbinding workshops throughout the year in and around Belfast; showing attendees how to make their very own hardback books. However, on one occasion we delivered a bookbinding workshop on how to make your own special edition Titanic Traveler's Notebook (leather journal). This is available to buy from our website, as standard.

However, this one is very special because of where it was made: in the original office of Thomas Andrews, Chief Designer of RMS Titanic. If you, or someone you know is passionate about the Titanic story, this would be a very unique and original gift. I will also provide a certificate of authenticity to confirm that it was handmade in Belfast; in the original office of Thomas Andrews. This is unquestionably a unique collectors piece and we would love it to end up in the hands of someone who will cherish it. 

What our Traveler's Notebook includes:

- genuine leather sourced in the UK;

- a vintage style charm of a ship's wheel;

- a bronze elastic and brass toggle system to hold notebooks and organisers;

- two notebooks with original illustrations. 1. The first notebook includes a gold foiled original illustration of Titanic with vellum endpapers featuring the pattern used on the dome of the grand staircase. 2. The second notebook includes an original illustration of the Titanic grand staircase, with one of the tiled linoleum designs on the reverse. The colour palette of the notebooks reflect the colours used on the original ship.

- a Kraft folder with pockets and cut-outs to store papers;
